Somatics + Breathwork

Hey, I’m Tia — a certified breathwork and somatic healing coach, and a woman who knows the weight of showing up for everyone else while slowly disappearing from herself.​

 

If you’re here, chances are you’ve felt it too — the disconnect, the burnout, the heaviness of losing touch with yourself. Maybe you're holding your breath or clenching your jaw more than you realize. Maybe your body is asking for something different, something deeper.

 

Think of this like an energetic massage — but instead of just working out knots in your muscles, we’re softening the ones you’ve been carrying in your nervous system. The ones that don’t show up on a body scan, but shape how safe you feel, how you respond to stress, how present you can be in your life.

That’s where this work comes in.

Let’s start with Breathwork.

Breathwork is more than deep breathing. It's an active, intentional practice that taps into the nervous system to help you move stuck energy, release stored emotions, and come back home to yourself.

When life has felt overwhelming, chaotic, or numbing (hello, motherhood?), the body often goes into survival mode — tension builds, emotions get shoved down, and the breath becomes shallow. Breathwork invites your body to soften and unwind. It's a way to clear what’s been buried, without having to explain it all with words.

This isn’t about forcing anything. It’s about creating space — for grief, for joy, for clarity, for you.

Now, somatic healing.

“Somatic” just means body-based. Somatic healing is the practice of working with your body to process, integrate, and release the stress, trauma, and emotions that talking alone can’t always reach.

It’s not about fixing you. (You’re not broken.)
It’s about listening to your body’s signals, building internal safety, and gently reintroducing your system to regulation, trust, and truth. It might look like grounding exercises, movement, sensation tracking, parts work, or simply allowing your body to feel — fully and safely — in real time.

Because your body holds your story — and your breath is the key to unlocking it.
Breathwork opens the door, and somatic tools help you stay in the room — to process, integrate, and shift at a pace that honors your system.
